PSC Register

PSC Register: in company law, abbreviation for ‘people with significant control’ register; a public register that a UK company must keep, setting out details of those persons holding (directly or indirectly) more than 25% of the company’s shares or voting rights, or those persons who have a right to remove all or a majority of the company’s directors, or those persons who otherwise exercise or have a right to exercise significant influence or control over the company; the requirement to keep a PSC register is a statutory requirement which took effect in April 2016 due to changes in EU money laundering regulations.
